ATELIER IRMAK (Bern)

Atelier Irmak was founded in 1985 as a specialist store for carpet restoration in the old town of Bern. Thanks to the profound experience and high quality work, we were able to create a good name for ourselves quickly and beyond the country's borders. In 1991 we opened a gallery with a small, carefully selected collection. Thanks to our uncompromising commitment to quality, we won the trust of prestigious clients, were commissioned to restore museum pieces and build up collections, and were entrusted with appraisals by private collectors and auction houses. With the takeover of the renowned carpet store Wirz at the beginning of the year 2000, we were able to fulfill a dream and move into one of the most beautiful locations in the old town with our gallery.
