Company History

The story began in 1990 with the decision of Mr. Gugger and Mr. Aebi to found the company Gugger & Aebi AG together. In a small but well equipped wooden hall in Lüterswil the first 3 employees started to practice their craft as carpenters. Very soon apprentices followed, who had to be trained.
Due to an age-related company takeover, the company Gugger & Zimmerli AG was founded in July 2003. In 2009 the name was changed to GZ Holzbau AG.
Today our company employs besides the owner Ueli Gugger another 12 employees and additionally 3 apprentices.

Area of activity: Kirchberg BE, Lüterswil, Bätterkinden, Willer bei Utzensdorf, Fraubrunnen, Kernenried, Zaugenried and Rüdtligen.

The company GZ Holzbau AG stands for craftsmanship, as for wood, gypsum and fiber cladding. We are ready to show you our products in a personal meeting.

**Stairs

We recommend ourselves for all staircase construction works. From floor stairs, outdoor stairs, space-saving stairs, screed stairs to stair tread inserts for metal stairs, our product range extends. We are happy to answer your questions and advise you with great expertise.

Flooring

From old to new.
Under this motto we restore your old parquet floor to high gloss.Quickly you will ask yourself whether your floor should be restored or renewed. Most of the time it makes more sense to remove the top layer of your parquet and give your floor a new shine.
This restoration can be a delicate matter, without experience the floor will be ruined very quickly (bumps, cracks). Trust the experts, we have the necessary competence and experience and help your floor back to its old beauty!

Wage works

With our large machine park we are happy to carry out contract work for you. It starts with the technical drying of the wood in the drying chamber. On the longitudinal trimming mill the boards are cut to the desired size.
With our modern four-sided planing machine we are able to create a wide range of profiles. On the large Wagenkap milling machine, entire frets can be cut to length. We will gladly inform you about further offers.

Material deliveries

Are you planning to carry out your own work? We are happy to advise and supply you! Whether from the small trim to the strong roof beams. Wainscoting, flooring made of wood, panel products, insulation, foils and adhesive tapes are all part of our rich assortment. The corresponding fixing materials are also available from us.
